Residency Program

Resident training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is offered by the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alberta. This training program is fully approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The program operates out of the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital site of Alberta Health Services (AHS). Core rehabilitation rotations are done at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Lifemark, Millard, HealthPointe, Glen Sather Sports Medicine Centre, the Edmonton General Hospital and in community clinics. Off service rotations occur at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Royal Alexandra Hospital, the Grey Nuns Hospital, the Misericordia Hospital, Cross Cancer Institute and in community clinics.
