CaPM&R Paper of the year Award - 2010
The paper of the year is an original investigative work in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation done by a staff physiatrist and published in a reputable journal. The physiatrist must be the primary author of the paper. Any physiatrist working in Canada is eligible.

Resident Awards Related to Research
Glenrose Senior Resident Research Award - 2010
Residents in the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Alberta are required to do an annual presentation of their resident research projects. Projects are scored based on literature search, project design, statistical analysis, discussion of results and overall presentation skills. An award is given to the best senior research project.
CaPM&R Resident Essay Contest - 2010 The essay should review a topic relevant to Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The submission will be graded according to content, originality, thoroughness of the literature review, style and organization. Any resident enrolled in a Canadian residency program and fellows-in-training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the time of the essay deadline is eligible.
CaPM&R Best Podium Presentation - 2009 Awarded at the annual scientific meeting of the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation following all podium presentations.
APA Resident Research Award - 2009
Residents in Edmonton and Calgary have the opportunity to present their resident research projects annually at the Alberta Physiatry Association annual meeting. Physiatrists from all over the province of Alberta attend the presentations and have the opportunity to ask the residents in regards to their projects. An award is given to the best resident research project in the province.
